MTM Property Services is a member of UKALA (UK Association of Letting Agents), the NLA (National Landlord Association), and the TPOS (The Property Ombudsman Scheme). This enables the company to keep fully up to date with any industry developments and legislation and property news in general. Our tenancy agreement has been checked by Brighton & Hove City Council Trading Standards Service and complies with the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.
The company is a member of ‘Mydeposits’ tenancy deposit registration scheme and strictly adheres to all other industry regulations including ‘Houses of Multiple Occupation’ and landlord licensing. MTM also works closely with an independent inventory company who provide an extensive photographic inventory of the property along with an accompanied check-in / out.
MTM work extensively within the local community. We have good relations with Brighton and Hove Council Housing Department. Additionally with the Bevendean Location Action Team (LAT), Brighton & Sussex University Housing, and Sussex Police.
In recent years we have participated in numerous meetings to discuss several issues including the effects of student population growth in residential areas (‘Studentification’), how students can positively integrate into local communities and what measures can be put in place to help minimise any negative affects.
MTM Property Services was short listed for the 2007 Sussex Business Awards – “Best new Business”. Unfortunately we did not reach the final but this is still something we are naturally very proud of.
We have achieved excellent growth and success every year, and hope to continue this trend by delivering a first class service to all whom we work with.
